In the eastern part of the island we find the town of Santa Eulalia del Rio, its name comes from the church Puig de Missa, offering stunning views of the whole town.
It also has the only river in the Balearic Islands, the headwaters of which are near the most mountainous area of the island close to Sant Mateu D´Albarca.
Near the town of Santa Eulalia, we have two of the most famous and important hippie markets on the island, which we can stop to visit if you wish.
The hippie market of Las Dalias is located in San Carlos and takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays from June thought to September, starting at 7 p.m., at 10 a.m. on Saturdays.
The market of Es Cana, in Punta Arabí, is considered the oldest on the island, it is open on Wednesday mornings.
Both markets have live music and organise workshops for children.
We will continue touring the northeast coast of the island and some of its beaches such as Pou d´es Lleó, with spectacular views of the island of Tagomago.
Another beach of breath-taking colours that can be visited is Aigües Blanques, is of fine and soft golden sand, with a few rocks protruding from its crystal-clear waters. It’s an official nudist beach.
Continuing along the north coast, we can stop in Portinatx, an area of quiet family beaches.
Another beautiful cove in the north of the island worth visiting is Cala Xarraca, a small, secluded and quiet cove, with fishermen´s huts.
Following all these visits around the island, which will take about four hours, depending on the time it is, we can stop and savour some typical Ibicencan cuisine in a good restaurant before continuing the tour, or we can return to the departure point or wherever you wish.
